Sprint
Series at Battersea Park
The
regular sprint series that has been so popular for the last couple
of seasons is back at Battersea for 2003. The top
prize is £75 to the runner who gains the most points throughout
the entire series. Points are awarded according to the IAAF
Scoring Tables. Scores for 100 metres
and 200 metres at each meeting will be totalled and the athlete
with the highest total after all four meetings will be the winner.
Of
course if you simply want to turn up for one or two events then you will be very welcome.

A ladies series will be held
only if there is sufficient interest (40 or more women's sprint
race entries throughout the four meetings) otherwise ladies can enter
anyway and run in mixed or single sex races depending on numbers.
Entry
fees: £2.50 per event before the day, £3.00 on the night.
To enter the Endurance GP for the whole series before the first
meet - this includes 100m and 200m - £15.00. All fees
payable to Belgrave Sports Promotions Ltd.
