Aldershot Relays inc. SEAA 6-Stage Championship - 29 September 2007 

Above. The 2007 senior men's race is under way and David Anderson (behind A40's right shoulder) takes charge of the first stage - he came home 3rd.

Above. Halfway through the second stage and early leaders Harrow have slipped back but Aldershot F&D and the Beagles have come through and gone thanks to Ben Moreau and Steve Hepples. Pictured left are James Poole (B20 Blackheath & Bromley H) and Owain Matthews (B13 Bedford & County), doing battle with with Mark Pollard. Right. Mark hands over to Simon Jones having flogged himself to a standstill.

Above. No respecter of reputations, Simon Jones moved past Michael East of the Beagles and Martin Mashford of Aldershot.  His first lap took 8:59 and he went on to run 18:12 - Belgrave's second fastest of the day - as he built up a 25 second lead.

Above. Stephen Sharp sends a determined Phil Wicks away for leg 5. An astounding first lap of 8:40 had Phil shooting for best lap of the day - but he paid for it on the second circuit and had to be satisfied with fourth best, fastest Belgravian, and a sub-18 clocking.

Above. Stephen Sharp took over from Simon and extended the lead by another 9 seconds on stage 4, admitting that he'd enjoyed his run

Left. Pressure for James Kelly - handed a 1:31 lead but with Beagles star Dave Mitchinson set to try and chase him down on the final stage. James handled the situation perfectly.
