Above: the start, and Nick takes it relatively steadily, buried in the pack, as they climb up towards Kite Hill. There's no prize for being the first man over the top. Above left: heading back towards the end of the first lap and Ben Hunter of Southend (3659) is making the running with Nick comfortable alongside City of Norwich's Mitch Goose (3412). About 6k into the race and now it's Nick beginning to push it along.
Into the finishing straight and unable to contain his pleasure, Nick is ready to "give five" to anyone who wants to congratulate him.
