Golden Jubilee Cup Semi-Final, Eton, 19 July 2003 |

Above - Rachel King, Amala Onuora, Michelle Nestor and Caroline Wilson teamed up to win the 4x100 metres. All pictures by Patricia Mead. Below
left - Stephen Sharp comfortably took the 1500
metres, planning to line up for the AAA 5000m Championship the following
week. Below right - Hassan Raidi
set the ball rolling in the first track event of the afternoon with a
win in his section of the 10,000m - his first ever attempt at the
distance on the track. Future aims for Hassan include the Great North
Run, the National 10k and maybe the BUPA Great South Run.
Above left - Enjoying a period of great form, steeplechase winner Kevin Nash has been mixing the 'chase, road and 1500m to good effect - but has a few special plans up his sleeve for 2004. Centre - Heptathlete Julie Hollman is rounding into good shape with the major championships ahead. She won both long and high jumps with a season's best of 1.81m coming in the latter. Right - Richard Aspden cleared 2.05m to win the high jump. Below left - "Mossy's" back! After a super winter which saw Chris Moss running to 1:48.12 for 800 metres indoors in February, yet another knee injury dragged our two lap hero down to the depths of despair again. Nevertheless, although missing a lot of conditioning work, "Mossy" was back on the track and a gentle tactical outing saw him controlling the 800 to give another Belgrave win. Right - Hannah Stares switched to the flat 400m but the result was the same - another win.
Above - 4 x 400 metre men Chris Moss (leg 2, 49.5), Geoff Dearman ( 1, 48.2), Matt Douglas (4, 50.9) and sixteen year-old Set Osho (3, 49.0). Leading by a street after three laps, Matt tried to see how slow he could go but still bring the team home in first. Below - And it was a win for the women in the long relay as well with Hannah Stares (2, 58.0), Julie Hollman (3, 57.0), Caroline Wilson (1, 59.5) and Jennifer Culley (4, 56.7).
