spite of the windy conditions. Centre
- Louise Cooper had the unenviable task of taking over in third
position. Right
- Vicky Edwards turns into the finishing straight at the end of stage
three.

- Last stage runner Maria Sharp fights her way up the finishing straight
having gained nine places to bring the Belles home 15th from 82
starters. Roger Alsop (right) seems determined to ignore her!
