was Stephen Sharp's fifth win in six visits to Ocean Village.
Above
(left to right): Hassan Raidi had represented Middlesex in the
Inter-Counties & World Cross Trial the previous day, notching up an
impressive 32nd place. His next planned outing is the TVH Road Relay
followed by the AAA Half Marathon.
It
was nice to see Lee Greatorex back in the Belgrave team. As our
third man home, in 11th place, he ensured that the fight to retain the
Team Solent Plate was on.
But
he had to keep his foot on the gas because close behind in 13th, and
closing in the team, was first year senior Mark Humphrey, adding
another medal to his collection.
Left:
A battling run from another first year senior, Rosie Powell, gave
us even more to cheer for at the presentation as she took third individual
place in the women's race.
And
to keep the Belgrave theme going, although not pictured here, Les
Morris was first man home in the M60 section and Tony St. Leger
did likewise in the M40s.

A winning smile from Stephen Sharp - and surely that course record
is going to go one of these days.
