Club La Santa Running Week Aquathlon, Lanzarote, 27 November 2006.

200m swim, 3km run. 1 J King (GBR) 05:13/11:46 - 16:59; 2 T Heaton 05:36 12:31- 18:07; 3 C Eastham 05:30 13:19 - 18:49. Lee Geatorex and Louise Cooper competed as a team with Lee swimming 03:17 (incl transition) and 1st out of the pool. Louise ran 12:51, total 16:08. They were 3rd team and 4th altogether.

ITU Lausanne World Triathlon Champs, 29 August 2006.

Elite Senior Men's Aquathlon. 1 R Stannard (GBR) 27:59; 4 G Billington 28:12 (1st Junior).

Greenwich Tritons' Aquathlon, 19 August 2006.

500m swim, 5k run.

Men. 23 S Baxendale 34:25 - 10:45, 23:25.

Women. 1 A Hegvold 27:42 - 7:02, 20:40.

Trek Dorney Triathlon 2006, Eton, 25 June 2006.

Competing under the banner of Belgrave Harriers, Greg Billington hit the Trek Dorney Triathlon on Sunday. Only trouble is, as a 17 year-old, he entered the Under 23 section instead of the Youth section.  Nevertheless, he ended up 10th in the swim, dropped a little on the bike - and then ran fastest of all get back up to 10th overall.

Dambuster Triathlon, Rutland Water, Leicestershire, 24 June 2006.

1500m swim, 42km bike, 9.6km run.

Vicky Edwards was disappointed with her result, being well behind her best of 2:18, but nevertheless qualified for the Age Group Championships in Switzerland.

M25-29. 19 J Browne 2:14:47.
W35-39. 7 V Edwards 2:32:45.

Skinfit Triathlon, Derby, 30 April 2006.

It was Vicky Edwards' first triathlon of the season and although not a good race for her, as she was hoping for a top three finish, she placed 4th. The event consisted of a 500m swim, 30k bike and 6k run - all held in very cold conditions. Her next competition will be the national age group sprint on 21 May 2006.

Women. 1 L Smith (BRAT) 1:30:27; 4 V Edwards 1:38:02 - swim 10:07 (3rd), bike 1:12:15 (4), run 25:40 (4).
