Last year at the British Age Group Aquathlon Champs Anne Hegvold had a tough day and failed to finish but she made no mistake in 2008, winning the W40-44 category to become British Age Group Champion.

600m swim 6 mile run

Triathlon team manager Tim Weeks took bronze in this London Triathlon League event, thus equalling Lee Greatorex's position of 2007. The event consists of a 600 metre swim followed by a 6 mile run and for the first time Belgrave's Triathletes closed in a full team of five.

Talk about consistent!  Versus her 2007 performance Anne Hegvold was one second faster in her swim and one second faster in her run - but dropped one place overall.
