Twenty-one PBs as 31 Belgravians flood Cambridge half

Huge trains of claret and gold steamed around the streets of Cambridge this Sunday as Belgravians descended on the increasingly popular half marathon course.

We counted 21 PBs among the 31 finishers, with Ugur Altan (16th in 68:19) and Jess Saunders (6th in 76:15) our highest-placed. Tonbridge’s Verity Hopkins, who trains with a Belgrave group in Battersea, won the women’s race in 73:49.
