Another Award for Bill Lucas

[/ezcol_1quarter] [ezcol_1half]On the 3rd March 2017 West Sussex County Council presented Bill Lucas with a Certificate of Achievement to honour his exceptional life. The Certificate, which was presented at a ceremony held in Cowfold, Sussex, states:-

We wish to record our appreciation to Mr Bill Lucas for his long and distinguished career In the
RAF marked by his award of the DFC and as the oldest serving member of Belgrave Harriers
The award was presented by Mrs Susan Pyper, the Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex, representing H.M. The Queen. The West Sussex Council representatives were led by Chair, Mrs Patricia Arculus. Bomber Command was represented by several veteran airman from WW2 and Belgrave Harriers was represented by Alan Black and President Bill Laws and June Laws.[/ezcol_1half][ezcol_1quarter_end]
