Belgrave waives all membership fees for 2020/21 season

Belgrave Harriers will not charge any membership fees for the 2020/21 season, regardless of if and when racing re-starts following the coronavirus-related lockdown.

The club had suspended the renewal of membership fees, due at the start of April, but has taken the decision to waive the payment completely until fees are due for next season in March 2021.

Should racing resume, the club will use cash reserves to pay for registered members’ England Athletics affiliation required to take part in licensed racing.

Any new athletes joining Belgrave this season will also do so for free, and the club will pay their EA fees.

The club is awaiting news of potential National Athletics League track and field fixtures, with a meet proposed for the weekend of 15/16 August. Some of our members have already taken part in limited-number pilot races.

We hope to see you at training and racing in the not too distant future!
