Double silver for Belgrave at the National Cross Country Relays

The Belles went to Berry Hill Park as champions for the past three years. Nancie Bowley, Kitty Shepherd-Cross and Abbey Brooke clocked 29:34 for the women’s 3 x 3km, second to our neighbours Herne Hill Harriers (28:43) and ahead of Aldershot, Farnham & District (29:41).
The mixed relay, new to the championships this year with two men and two women each running 1.6km, brought a second silver. Simon Coppard, Alex Barbour, Sam Sommerville and Juliet Hodder finished in 20:22, behind Cambridge & Coleridge (19:33) and ahead of Sale Harriers (20:26).
