London-Lisbon 2004
Would anybody like to travel from London to Lisbon in time for the England France game on June 16th?
The catch, apart from the ferry crossing, is that you have to make your way under your own steam. This can be either by running, cycling, skateboarding or any other form of transport that is going to catch people's imagination... especially the press!
This is being done for charity - Everyman.
Everyman was established by The Institute of Cancer Research to raise awareness and fund vital research for prostate and testicular cancer. Money raised goes to support the UK's first centre dedicated to male cancers - their diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
Accommodation, transport and food will be provided as well as all the appropriate (branded) clothing which must be worn. Preferably the individuals should get sponsorship money together as well but this is not essential.
Likely candidates have to be fit and able to speak to the press if necessary.
