Vilma Thompson Wins 2 Bronze Medals in the European Masters Indoor Championships in Madrid

Sophie Harris reports:This star just keeps on shining! Vilma has been a part of the athletics circuit from a young age and continues her journey competing in Master Field events. She has competed in many different types of events over the years and this ex- sprinter is now a European Bronze medalist in the hammer and shot put events.The week prior to competing in the European Masters champs, Vilma dominated the British National Indoor scene at Lee Valley, London by winning gold in the shot put, hammer and weight throw."Despite the snowy subzero temperatures, I really enjoyed competing in Madrid and look forward to my next competition", Vilma commented.

Vilma is going from strength to strength and is looking forward to the World Masters Track & Field Championships held in Malaga this coming September.
