Malik Nehaili had a particularly plucky run because he's had weeks off running with concussion caused by slipping on the snow and banging his head.

Only recently turned 11, Yasmin Marghini came second in the U13 girls race with a storming finish. In the under 11s, 9 year old Larissa won the fun run taking an early lead then when the bunch began to catch her, finished with an impressive sprint. Our competitors wereThe kids that ran were:

In cold conditions alongside the River Thames the youngsters got under way half an hour earlier than normal, due to the failing light at this time of year, and within 20 minutes we were treated to the sight of Malik Nehaili coming home in third place in the under 13 group. Well done Malik!
