Two wins out of two for Paskar

Holder of the individual title last winter, Paskar Owor looks determined to hold onto the cup for 2011/2012 as he racked up his second win out of the two races held so far this season. But it was Richard Stannard making the early running, leading to 2k before his lack of running fitness began to tell and he had to grimly hang on as well as he could for the rest of the race. It was a painful way to get back into the world of the harriers after winning his third World Aquathlon title back in September.

At the finish Paskar was putting his tracksuit on by the time the second man came out of the woods and a very good run came from Will Cockerell, our second man home in 6th. Martin Holm was a handy 19th, then came 'Stanno' followed by familiar faces and the not so familiar Stuart Kollmorgen (a race walker) before the good ol' boys closed in the ten.

Third place? Not at all bad, while Herne Hill claimed another sub-100 score to clearly lead the competition from Thames Hare & Hounds.

At just eleven years old Malik Nehaili was our sole U13 runner but enjoyed himself again, especially having the honour of wearing race number 1.
