Rosenheim League Eastern Division Match 2, Croydon

A single point ahead at the end of the evening, Herne Hill Harriers denied the Bels a Rosenheim League win at windy Croydon. Greg Cackett was the class of the 100m field but was nevertheless disappointed with his 10.9. Attempting a 400m/800m/1500m/3000m quadruple as a training session, Richard Ward came unstuck after the second event when a twanging hamstring had him reduced to a walk in the home straight of the 400m. Hopefully it will turn out to be not too serious.
