Surrey Women's Cross Country League Division 1, Denbies Vineyard, Dorking

Things looking better in the Women's League

A monster field included a stronger Belgrave women's team that improved on a 15th team place in the opening match to 9th here at Denbies Vineyard. Overall we moved up to 16th in the league but the points situation is a lot more healthy now and another push in match three after Christmas should see the Belles clear of the threat of relegation.

This time it was Sam Amend's turn to lead the team home and it was great to see Catherine Bryson back in action again. Another good run came from Vicki Goodwin, up 22 places in spite of the larger field and this time getting the better of Tilly Heaton.
