Rosenheim League Eastern Division Match 6, Tooting
The Eastern Division came to a conclusion in a drizzle that didn't abate for the whole evening. In the men's match somehow we pulled in six wins - as many as the the rest of the teams combined - but blanks in three events held the team back to third on the night although still safely qualifying for the final. Paskar did his normal three race trick and was aided and abetted by Matt Threadgold, running so well over 400 metres these days but stepping down for a 100m/200m double, and javelin ace Clifton Green.
Nelleke Quispel made a notable debut in the women's team, running a non-scoring 2:27.0 800 metres with a 69 first lap as a warm up for the scoring 400 metres and 1500 metres.
